
In support of Laguna Vice-Governor EDWIN OLIVARES program: A.N.G.A.T. LAGUNA, working waiting shed prototypes were built and installed by TBPI/ARTISTSHOP in the four(4) districts of Laguna,namely: SAN PEDRO, CALAMBA, SAN PABLO, and STA. CRUZ.
Using a modern structural design and materials and I-beam bars–veering away from the traditional structures we see around.
Modular, to answer the varying site requirements along the roadsides, these TBPI/ARTISTSHOP waiting shed structures are to be placed in CBD areas of Laguna province with schools, public markets, public parks, and government buildings and/or churches in mind.
A total of FIFTY-NINE(59) units will be built within two(2) months across this Laguna this Program: A.N.G.A.T. LAGUNA livelihood program gets into full swing.
Rear-illuminated, double-faced panaflex lightboxes atop roofing have been provisioned for interested project sponsor-advertisers. Product/Brand category lock-out applies.

Probably the biggest supports the Tourism FIESTA Truck got during its launch in Tarlac recently was the participation of ABS-CBN. Committed in the promotion of tourism and in public service, ABS-CBN made it a point to heed the call of Tourism Council Region 3 for support during its launch at the Tarlac Plazuela by covering and airing said event on TV. Moreso, ABS-CBN has aligned with TBPI/ARTISTSHOP in its program by signing a Memorandum of Understanding that a live feed of its early evening primetime shows will be shown at the Tourism FIESTA Truck while stationed in the City or Municipal Parks in time for fiesta schedule as set by Department of Tourism in BULACAN, NUEVA ECIJA, PAMPANGA, TARLAC, ZAMBALES, BATAAN and AURORA.
As part of the agreement, ABS-CBN shall have a side PANAflex static ad while the truck goes around during daytime. At night time, this ad shall be illuminated + the TV materials shall be broadcast at the specially-designed cine-cine feature of the Tourism FIESTA Truck with its cinema-quality sound system. Be part of this Fiesta TOURISM Truck as it hits the seven(7) provinces of Central Luzon during every fiesta time.

In time with the CASURECO 2 30th Anniversary and after the CASURECO 2 - TBPI/ARTISTSHOP MOA signing the Oplan: KALINIGAN Posteng Malinig. Posteng Magayon. was launched by TBPI/ARTISTSHOP Local Area Office and Partner: Mr. JOEL M. BLANCA of Naga City.
Presented was Area 2: NAGA/PILI/DAET Bikol Magayan Development Group Van to CASURECO 2 RAMON C. BORJA, President, ALDEN S. BONOT, Director, JOEL M.BLANCA, TBPI/ARTISTSHOP Local Area Partner, MELBA M. HABON, Finance Officer, and ELAINE V. ANTOLIN, Management Supervisor of TBPI/ARTISTSHOP. Program is geared to rid the CASURECO 2 posts from unauthorized installations — including advertising that has littered posts through its Good Housekeeping Program: CLEAN POST POLICY. The MOA is to mandate a daily 6:00AM to 8:00PM daily clean up of all posts through this BMDG Van and its local area crew of TWO(2). Armed with the MOA from post owner and with full support of the LGU, it is envisioned that Naga City, through TBPI/ARTISTSHOP, shall win one day the most-elusive CLEAN and GREEN Award Mayor ROBREDO has been working on while affording additional and much needed revenues for CASURECO 2 through responsible advertising.

The Department of Tourism led by Sec. JOSEPH “ACE” DURANO is to host its biggest event on 24-26 November at SM City Clark, Pampanga. Dubbed as the North Philipines International Tourism Fair, event shall showcase the myriad of tourism destinations and tourism destinations and tourism services of regions: Cordilleras, Ilocos, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon. This THREE(3)-day fair is supported by the National Association of Independent Travel Agencies Phils, Inc. in coordination with DOT Regions 1,2,3 and CAR, Philippines Tourism Authority, Provincial Governments of Pampanga, City Government of Angeles, Clark Development Corporation and Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority. This event is to objectivity set the pace of the north’s tourism development by showcasing what every region has to offer on tourism, business, etc. It will also give visitors a chance to discover the region through eye-catching visual aids, colorful cultural events and interactive exhibitions. TBPI/ARTISTSHOP as Central Luzon’s media partner of the tourism council as headed by Ms. LYDIA CO will be making available advertising and sponsorship opportunities for this DOT single biggest event for 2006. ShoeMart made true its promise to support the Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation by hosting its Iloilo Dinagyang 2007 National Launch at Mall of Asia very recently. No less than Ms. TESSIE COSON attended the brief but very colorful (and loud!) launch at SM’s MOA.Mayor JERRY TRENAS with Councilors and Foundation Director BEN JIMENA was accompanied by DAGOY, the official Iloilo Dinagyang Mascot. The winner of last year’s festival dance contest were present as well and performed to the delight of the usual throng of mall goers. Congressman RAUL GONZALES, Jr. also graced the occasion in support of this national launch for year: 2007 Iloilo Dinagyang to be held month: JANUARY.

The Western Visayas version of WOW! PHILIPINES! gathered various festivals in the region opened in Iloilo last 25 October, WEDNESDAY, to kick off the EIGHT (8)-day TOURISM ASSEMBLY event at the lower ground floor of the SM Activity Center. The Panay Island does not only posses the crown jewel in tourism which is Boracay but it also boasts of TWENTY-TWO (22) festivals. Statistically, these festivals have attracted a total of 1.5 million visitors last year alone the major thoroughfares of Iloilo City. A simultaneous opening of the tourism exhibit and fair, travel exchange and a showcase of cultural shows highllighted the 1st day of this regional event. Attended by Tourism Undersecretary PALABYAB and local officials from various provinces and of host city Iloilo, DOT Director TROMPETA was most enthusiastic on embodying event theme and objective: “SUSTAINING DOMESTIC TOURISM: TURNING IDEAS INTO ACTION. “TBPI/ARTISTSHOP, as its media partner, can make things happen for you and your products in this WV Region. In time with the Western Visayas TOURISM ASSEMBLY on-going in Iloilo City, TBPI/ARTISTSHOP launched the Region 6 Tourism FIESTA Truck. Designed to promote tourism by showcasing the local sights, industry, culture and business, this FIESTATruck shall go around in each of the festivals like ILOILO Dinagyang and Chinese New Year, ANTIQUE Binirayan Festival, GUIMARAS Manggahan sa Guimaras, and CAPIZ Aswang Festival. As an official Department of tourism effort, truck is to participate in the festival parades and activities as a continuing program of WOW Philippines! on a local level. A brainchild of Director TROMPETA (Chairman of Region 6 DOT) in tandem with Agency Local Area Partner MARISSA SEGOVIA, this truck shall be the 3rd launch of TBPI/ARTISTSHOP for DOT through LGUs and/or Local Tourism after Davao City and Central Luzon when earlier roving cine-cine trucks were unveiled and provided for usage. No less than Sec. DURANO graced the TOURISM ASSEMBLY with Local Government and Tourism officials during the launch of the Tourism FIESTA Truck at the grounds of Sarabia Manor last WEDNESDAY, 25 October.

The biggest Department of Tourism event for 2007 was held recently. Host to this THREE (3)-day international event was Shoemart via its “new” sprawling mall at Clark. Co-hosted by DOT and NAITAS as headed by its President ANGEL RAMOS BOGNOT, the fair boasted of ONE HUNDRED plus (100+) exhibition booths coming Regions:1,2,3 and CAR with local and international institutions as participants. No less than Sen. DICK GORDON did the honors of formally opening the exhibit who declared the dawning of central Luzon as the new Tourism hub as he gamely hopped from booth to booth. Key DOT officer together with LGUs were present. The whole day opening event started with a parade and motorcade lead by the TBPI/ARTISTSHOP Tourism FIESTA Truck and closed with its cine-cine’s theater-style equipment to the delight of the crowd that started from 7:30pm up to 11:30pm at the front open area of SM Clark, for the duration of the fair. The TBPI/ARTISTSHOP Tourism FIESTA Truck went around Angeles area with cine-cine showing every night.

This 27th staging of the Masskara Festival had something new from the past years - the Tourism FIESTA Truck! On its final day and open category parade last SUNDAY, 22 October, the Region 6 Department of Tourism FIESTA Truck participated in the day’s main event. Parade started 2:00pm and culminated with the announcement of the various winners and special citations. Used as the highlight of the parade, it was assigned at the tail end and had the privilege of announcing to the throng of merry-makers that lined up the festival’s route the end of street dancing and signaled the start of competition. This Tourism FIESTA Truck has been developed by TBPI/ARTISTSHOP for DOT Region 6 and designed to attend every festival in this area of Aklan, Anitique, Guimaras, Iloilo, negros Occidental and Capiz. Truck shall participate in every festival parade and stationed in the plaza for the night film showing via its cine-cine projection screen and theatre-like sound system. Bacolod City guests, locals and merry makers of Masskara had a field day taking pictures of the new festival attraction and having their photos taken with the tourism FIESTA Truck for souvenir.
